New Movie

After the show & my time with Matt & Ross I was at the NSW Parliament Pray Luncheon
The guest speaker was Dr Keith Suter (I have invited Kieth on the show)who spoke about William Wilberforce as it is 200 year since he and his bill to abolish slavery was enacted.
In keeping with the 200th anniversary of this event the people who are making the Narnia Films has made a movie called "Amazing Grace" about this event.
Which I previewed after the lunch it was very good I have ask a couple of people involved to come on the show.
So we will see
The movie is released into cinemas on the 26th July

From the Show

I spoke to Matt & Ross from CAP which very interesting
We spoke about lots of things one of those was the Pay Day lenders
How they get around the consumer laws, by making additional penalties to those can't afford repayments. Taking the rate to up 500% interest which is way beyond what is reasonable. The highest percentage of their clients are young people and the loans are mostly about $400.00 used to pay bills!
CAP have a business breakfast coming up on the 16th July (which is starting to fill)
Go here for details

From the Show

This morning I spoke with Ivan Herald but before that I talked about Willie Nelson
His Biography is here
Willie's was a song writer who sold a couple of songs early on Crazy which something like 30 covers of Patsy Cline recorded first & made the publisher lots of money.
The thing is the for Willie this gave him a few things.
First it gave him enough to pay rent for 2 years & get a car which helped him make it to get through those couple of years.
Second he had confidence that he could sell his music.
When he came into his own it was on his terms.

We need to not hold so priceless our first whatever idea/product/song what you need is to get going. Then these things will take us where we are meant to be.

While speaking with Ivan he was in the UK he saw Paul Potts on BGT while he was off one night.
He was amazed by this guy as will you be (In the previous post)

We spoke about marriage & doing the little things.
Not that I do it all the time but I do buy flowers, I do make Breakfast Vera doesn't like it in bed. She does like to sleep in though.

Doing the little things.
The seminar is on the 16th & 17th of July at 230 Liverpool Rd Enfield
details at
Price is $50 for singles or $90 for couples.

If we are ding what we love then we are not working / we are getting paid to do what we love
